At Abalindi Welfare Society's Children's Home, we provide a safe, loving, and supportive environment for vulnerable children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or neglected. Our mission is to provide a haven of care, compassion, and community for these children, and to help them grow and develop into happy, healthy, and well-adjusted individuals.

Social Worker
Zodwa Mkhize is a dedicated and compassionate social worker who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children. As our Children's Home Social Worker, Zodwa provides emotional support, counseling, and advocacy to the children in our care, helping them to overcome trauma and adversity and reach their full potential.
Our Children's Home provides a range of services and activities to support the physical, emotional, and social development of our children.
These include:
- 24-hour care and support from our team of trained caregivers
- Education and educational support to help our children succeed in school
- Nutritious meals and snacks to promote healthy growth and development
- Recreational activities and outings to promote socialization and fun
- Counseling and emotional support to help our children overcome trauma and adversity
